Our fleet of 90 hire bikes for all ages and abilities are from the very latest range by Trek, including the Trek Rail, Remedy, Powerfly, Roscoe and Marlin. Choose from hardtail and full suspension adult bikes, kids bikes, trailers and baby seats, as well as helmets and safety gear as required. It’s also a great way to maximise your enjoyment of the trails on a bike you’re thinking of buying.
Our 30 e-MTBs offer something for all abilities; a great way to try an e-bike or max out the red, black and World Cup routes on the latest top-of-the-range models. Whether it’s a relaxing family day out or pushing your skills to the limit at Yorkshire’s premier MTB destination, our team of enthusiasts have got you covered.
Please note that in order to hire a bike, two forms of ID must be produced before the hire commences, one of which must be photo ID eg driving licence (full, not provisional) or a current passport. Individual ID must be produced for each adult bike hired.
Hire must be paid for by credit/debit card inserted into a card reader and a pin used: contactless payments are not accepted.
MOUNTAIN BIKE HIRE
Choose from a range of the latest models from Trek & Haibike – including hardtails, full-suspension and electric bikes to suit everyone. Our extensive fleet includes bikes for riders of every age, ability and experience level – with hardtails to full suspension models to suit your riding style and plans for the day.
For security, all our mountain bikes are fitted with
hidden trackers.
Whatever your requirements, you’re guaranteed a high quality, well-maintained mountain bike that’s right for you - we don’t stock bikes we wouldn’t be happy to ride ourselves!
Our hire bikes must only be ridden in Dalby Forest, on forest roads, bridleways and official cycle trails. Riding 'off piste' , on 'wild trails' or at the bike park at Adderstone is not allowed as the bikes are unsuitable for this type of terrain. Their use in these locations will result in bike damage (payable by the rider) and potentially, rider injury.
ELECTRIC BIKE HIRE
Go further and do more with e-bike hire.
We offer an extensive fleet of premium Trek & Haibike e-bikes for adults, including both hardtail and top of the range full suspension electric Haibike MTBs. To hire an e-bike, riders must be at least 14 years old and e-bikes must not be ridden at Dixon's Hollow Jump Park.
For security, all our electric bikes are fitted with
hidden trackers.
Choose from models to suit every experience level and riding style, including bikes for beginner trails, to top of the range performance models suitable for the most challenging Red, Black and World Cup routes.

ACCESSIBLE BIKE HIRE
We want everyone to be able to experience Dalby Forest’s awesome trails and we have an amazing range of bikes to suit riders with balance or mobility problems.
This includes companion bikes, wheelchair bikes, trikes, hand cranks, tandems and KMX Karts.
We’re excited to be adding a number of awesome recumbent ICE Trikes this summer.

The balance must be settled by physical presentation of a credit/debit card (not tap and go). Cash payments for bike hire are not accepted.

THINGS TO REMEMBER AT DALBY FOREST CYCLE HUB.
Due to recent thefts, we have had to increase our security measures so please:
Make sure you bring along two forms of ID, one of which must be photo ID (passport or full driving licence, not provisional) as security for each adult bike to be hired.
Card payments are accepted but the card must be inserted into the card reader and a pin used ie 'tap & go' unaccepted. Cash is also unaccepted.
Helmet, inner tube, tyre levers, multi-tool and pump are included in the hire charge
If inner tubes are used, they are charged at RRP for that particular tube
Over 18s must sign for and supervise under 16-year-olds
16 and 17-year-olds can ride unsupervised but cannot supervise under 16s
All bikes are to be returned by 4pm each day
Maximum rider weight 19 stones
Hire bikes must not be ridden at Dixons Hollow.
Bike Hire Cancellation Policy
For cancellations advised more than 48 hours prior to the hire reservation date: we can either move your booking to an alternative date or provide a refund less 5% card transaction fees and administrative costs.
For cancellations advised less than 48 hours prior to the hire reservation date: we can move your booking to an alternative date but refunds are unavailable.
For bookings impacted by Covid-19 government rulings: we can either move your booking to an alternative date or provide a refund less 5% card transaction fees and administrative costs.
