There is a demo fee but this is subtracted from the price of the bike if you choose to go ahead and buy.
We also offer a price match promise, finance options and Cycle To Work schemes to make buying an amazing new bike as affordable as possible.

Demo Rides At Dalby: Frequently Asked Questions
You can demo most of the current Santa Cruz line-up, including the Vala, Heckler, Heckler SL, Bullit, and Hightower. We have the Fuel+, Rail+ and Checkpoint+ electric bikes from Trek and the Haibike AllMtn CF 11 featuring Pinion system. TGhis is the most comprehensive demo fleet in Yorkshire. Availability may vary, so it’s best to book ealy to secure your preferred model.
All demo rides start from Dalby Forest Cycle Hub, in the heart of Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire – home to the UK’s longest red route and a former UCI Mountain Bike World Cup course. All Dalby's waymarked bike trails start from outside "The Hub". The team can also point you in the direction of the best natural trails used by the locals.
Our demo rides start between 9am and 10am, and give you the chance to ride your dream bike, or different bikes back to back, for a full day – hitting the trails at Dalby so you can really explore how the bike feels, rides and get dialled in with the perfect size and set up.
Yes, please bring your own helmet and riding gear. We do have helmets availabe to hire should you not have your own, but no other protective clothing.
Demo ride pricing depnds on the bike. Accoustic bikes (none electric) are £90 for a day while electric bikes are £120 for the day. There is no additional charge if you wish to swap bikes during the day so you can compare models and sizes. Should you go on to purchase a bike, the cost of your demo will be deducted from your purchase - effectively making the demo ride FREE!
