Are you a female cyclist who loves mountain biking? Would you relish the chance to inspire other women to develop their skills on the trail and get paid for it?
Our Women Rider-To-Coach Programme opens up opportunities for keen riders to become qualified coaches who can then lead and support other riders, including those on women-only courses.
Introduced originally to provide a relaxed, supportive environment for female cyclists to learn the trail basics, Dalby Forest Cycle Hub's courses for females have become incredibly popular.
As a result, we went on to introduce training for “improvers” and this year are bringing in a new, more technical Women-Only Shred The Red course in response to requests – and we need more coaches to meet this demand.

Our Women Rider-To-Coach Programme is designed to support and inspire female riders who are interested in taking the next step into mountain bike coaching.
Whether you’re curious about coaching, exploring a new career path or simply want to understand what opportunities are available, this programme offers a clear and supportive pathway.
We’re launching the programme with a FREE one-day introduction at Dalby Forest Cycle Hub on Saturday March 28, led entirely by our experienced female coaches. This day is about learning, connection, and confidence—no prior coaching qualifications are required.
What does the introduction day Include?

This will be a mixture of presentations and informal trail riding, with opportunities to ask questions, all led by our two female coaches, with support from our Head Coach Mark, with others also available to chat to.

Here''s what you can expect:
An overview of MTB coaching qualifications: Learn about the different coaching and leadership pathways, what’s involved, and how to progress from rider to a qualified MTB coach.
Real insight into life as a female coach: Hear honest, practical experiences from women currently working in the industry—what the role looks like day-to-day, the challenges, and the rewards.
Opportunities at Dalby Forest: Discover how qualified coaches can work at Dalby Forest Cycle Hub, including session delivery, events, and ongoing coaching opportunities.
Incentives and support: Find out about incentives available to support women through their qualifications, alongside mentoring and guidance as you progress.
